We are Kate Maple – a folk-rock band from the Czech Republic, active since late 2023. Since then, we’ve released several singles and, in early 2025, our debut EP Those Days Before.

We've had the chance to collaborate with some of the leading names in Czech music production – including Igor Ochepovsky (Ewa Farna, David Koller) and Jan Brambůrek (Houpací koně, Vypsaná fiXa).

Our music has gained attention both locally and internationally – we were finalists of the Ústí Region Showcase (2023), semifinalists in the UK Songwriting Contest (2024), and winners of the regional round of the Porta music competition in Svitavy (2025). We’re now heading to the national finals of Porta in Řevnice.

Media have also taken notice – we’ve been featured by outlets like Refresher and Frontman.cz, and appeared as guests on the ArtCafé show on Czech Radio Vltava.

We’ve played dozens of concerts across the Czech Republic, and in summer 2025, you can catch us at festivals like Rock for People, Prague Pride, Praha žije hudbou, and Festival Regiony.

What makes our sound unique are our three-part vocal harmonies, which are at the heart of our folk-rock-Americana fusion.
