We are Kate Maple, a Czech folk-rock band formed in late 2023. Our music blends folk, Americana and singer-songwriter roots with three-part vocal harmonies, strong storytelling and an increasingly energetic rock sound.

In early 2025, we released our debut EP Those Days Before, followed by a series of singles. Since then, we have been steadily developing our sound and are currently working on our second album with acclaimed Czech producer Boris Carloff. The new record takes Kate Maple in a bolder folk-rock direction – bigger, more dynamic and energetic, while keeping lyrics, stories and vocal harmonies at the heart of our music.

Over the past three years, we have played clubs and festivals across the Czech Republic, including Rock for People, and have begun taking our music abroad, most recently performing at Visagino Country Festival in Lithuania.

Along the way, we have won RFP Talents and Zapínač 2026, placed third at the Porta national finals, and reached the semifinals of the UK Songwriting Contest. Our music and story have also been featured by Czech media including Refresher, Frontman and Reflex, as well as Czech Radio.

After three years of growing, writing and playing together, Kate Maple are now entering a new chapter – with a second album on the way, a bigger live sound and plans to bring our music to more stages across Europe.
